If you read my previous posts, you know all of the wonderful benefits about living here, so it's time to take action.


Here are some of the best local relocation resources to help you get settled in, plus all you need to make the move to Emerald Isle, NC. Life is a beach and moving here is a breeze. Put our local community and real estate resources to good use and let us help you relax into island life.



The Town of Emerald Isle's website https://www.emeraldisle-nc.org/ is your go-to resource for everything about the Town's happenings and need-to-know information about living here. From government offices and local departments to the Mayor's Island Review and the Emerald Tidings Newsletter, you'll be in the know about the ins and outs of daily life on the island. Reference the town site for Emerald Isle facts and figures, tax information, building permits, garbage and recycling schedules, a calendar of events and pretty much anything you need to know. Go ahead and take a look at all of the information available to you, explore the tabs, and find answers to many of your questions about living in Emerald Isle and what to expect. This is one website you'll be referencing a lot, so be sure to bookmark it.  Emerald Isle Town Hall is located on 7500 Emerald Drive, so feel free to stop by in person and get to know us better.


The Town of Emerald Isle is located in Carteret County, North Carolina. The local Chamber of Commerce (https://nccoastchamber.com/) is another excellent resource for you to use. Here you'll find a list of the Carteret County government offices, important phone numbers and county contacts, a Crystal Coast event calendar and highlights of the area, Carteret County school information, property tax rates and other local data and statistics of interest.


The Carteret County Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1959 in Morehead City, N.C., and now represents approximately 900 businesses, professionals, organizations, educational institutions, government units and individuals who share a common objective to create and foster a healthy environment in which to conduct business and are committed to enhancing the quality of life for all citizens. Take a look at their current business directory to get to know our county community better. Once you get settled in, you might also want to consider becoming a member.


The Chamber of Commerce office is located at 801 Arendell Street, Suite 1 in Morehead City.
