Buying food from local farmers mean you are getting food at its peak. Fresh foods purchased from local farms are fresher and healthier because it doesn't spend days on a truck and then on supermarket shelves losing nutrients.
Purchasing locally grown vegetables and fruit as well as local seafood helps preserve your health and our environment. You also will be strengthening the local economy by investing money close to home.
