Start your New Year with a splash at the annual Penguin Plunge! Each year, hundreds of participants start their New Year off with a splash, bounding into the icy Atlantic Ocean to raise money for local charities. The 2020 Penguin Plunge featured charity will be the The Salvation Army of Carteret County. 

On February 2nd & 3rd Morehead City, NC will host the annual Carolina Chocolate Festival at the Crystal Coast Civic Center. Festival goers can experience an assortment of chocolate goodies along with other fun activities including, cake walks and a chocolate pudding contest.
